“Kneeling Adonis” is, it suggests his body language, an adoring and
equally adorable handsome youth, which was designed by the Spanish
artist Cezaro. Adonis, in Greek mythology, is the god of beauty and
desire, and is a central figure in various mystery religions. He is
described as a beautiful youth. On the left he is designed as a
well-formed, although not too youthful male figure. The sculpture is
mounted on a dark marble base and bearing the signature of the artist
Cezaro
.
